Hello guys, welcome to my second blog post. In this post I will show you how to start a scooter with electric starter. This is basic knowledge you need to know before you learn to ride the scooter.
You can watch the video above to know more detail of using the electric starter to start the scooter engine. It's really simple and easy even for beginners.
First thing to remember, if your scooter has the sidestand engine cutoff then you need to put the sidestand up. Then put the key in the key hole and turn it into ON position (usually it turn to right/up).
On my scooter (Honda Beat ESP), it has the feature to turn on its engine using the electric starter (the button on the right side of handlebar). I need to press the brake ( just one of them) and then pressing the electric starter button at the same time.
It will start the scooter engine and its ready to go, now I can twist the throttle to feel the scooter engine are ready to go.
This is possible if the scooter battery still in the good condition, if the battery are low or broken then it will be not possible to start scooter with electric starter.
Then you need to start the scooter engine using the manual kickstarter, I will share this on the next post.
